Northumbrian Worms is a family run business supplying wormcast - a fantastic plant growth promoter which is completely organic.

For thousands of years worms have been providing humankind with the ideal conditions for plant growth - and for much of that time they have been completely taken for granted (with the notable exception of the ancient Egyptians - who revered them!). It is really only in the past 30 years or so that academics have begun to fully appreciate the contribution that a healthy worm population makes to our soil.

As well as promoting growth by making nutrients available to plants in a form they can readily assimilate, wormcast contains huge numbers of beneficial micro-organisms which have been shown to provide plants with an increased ability to fight pests and diseases.
