Our company

Northumbrian Worms came into being in 2006 when we established 6000m2 of worm beds and created an internal fattening unit to ensure we could provide the very best quality worms for anglers and the composting market.

Since then we have learned a great deal about the process of breeding worms, and about some of the companies who operate in this market! Suffice it to say, if you are contemplating setting up a worm breeding operation, please contact us before you part with any money and we'll be happy to provide you with free information and advice.

We are now agents for a superb waste digestion system which uses worms for digesting waste products - vermicomposting - and are interested in hearing from any companies or organisations who would be interested in considering using worms to deal with their waste.

We gave up worm breeding in 2008 - taking out the last of our worm beds in 2009. We are now concentrating on sales of wormcast and equipment, and helping other breeders to find markets for their worms.
